Story
Arthur is settling into his foster home and doing great! He loves to play and has no problem keeping up with his younger foster brothers. You would only know he is 10 years old by the white on his face. We received the results from his bloodwork and are happy to report he is heartworm negative. His iron levels are a little low so he will be eating high-quality food and taking a daily supplement. Later this month he will get a dental and then he will be ready to find his forever family! Story
Update 3/3/2020 Cricket is doing great! She had her dental last week and only has 7 teeth left, but that does not slow her down. She is adhering to her strict diet and exercise plan and is on her way to a healthy weight. Cricket is getting the hang of only going to the bathroom outside and is crate trained. We are now accepting applications for Cricket. To apply to adopt this sweet girl please go to www.rescuerowinc.org Update 2/11/2020 Cricket is a ray of sunshine in her foster home! She has confidence and energy as she explores her surroundings. She is very loyal and attaches quickly to her 'person'. When not at your side, she likes to hang out in her crate. She gets excited for walks, treats, and her sweater! While she prefers people to dogs, she does well with older dogs. Cricket loves children, but their fast movements makes her nervous, so a home with children older than 8 would be best. To submit an application to adopt Cricket please go to www.rescuerowinc.org Meet Cricket! She is a 10 year old Yorkshire Terrier. Cricket was brought to the Dallas Animal Shelter as a stray in horrible condition. She was covered in mats, which caused major skin irritation and sores all over. Unfortunately, we had to shave off all of her hair, but there was just no saving it. She also has an extreme case of rotten teeth. Cricket saw Dr. Kim at Panther Creek Animal Hospital and was put on a round of antibiotics. She is scheduled for her dental in 2 weeks and then will be ready to find her forever home - 10 years - Yorkshire Terrier mix - 10lbs Available for adoption! If you would like to adopt a dog from Rescue Row please fill out an online application at rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 10 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee _____________________________________________________________________ Rescue Row is a section 501(c)3 (non-profit) no-kill all volunteer dog rescue organization, incorporated in March 2017, serving the DFW Metroplex. Story
When Aspen joined Rescue Row, she was extremely pregnant. Five days later, she gave birth to 7 puppies. All of her puppies have found their homes, and now it's Aspen's turn! She is a goofy, sweet girl who loves kids and other dogs. Because she lived on the street, she is working on proper leash manners and progressing great! She is also kennel trained and potty trained (although she sometimes mistakes carpet for grass). She loves to play with toys and other dogs. She has a hilarious personality and enjoys sleeping upside down and rolling around in the grass while playing with toys. She is a sweet girl who just wants to please!
