Story
We took Zapp in when my sister had a stroke last February until she was strong enough to care for him again. Unfortunately, that never happened, as she passed away in December. We are unable to continue to care for Zapp and would love to find him a new loving home. Zapp gets along perfectly with our other two dogs and is great around children. He isn’t a much of a snuggler but loves a good lap to sit in. Zapps only drawback is he does love to bark when people or other dogs are in site or earshot.

Story
Reno: 4 year old neutered male catahoula leopard dog mix, about 73 lbsReno is such a sweetheart. Reno came to us from a situation where many dogs where being dumped in the country and the property owner needed help. He is very laid back and sweet. He likes other dogs and does pretty good on a leash. He is a little shy meeting new people but does warm up quickly. He is new to 4P2L and working on house manners as we believe he may have only been an outside dog. More info to come as we get to know him. Story
Achilles is a 6 year old sweetheart. He has a ton of love to give and still thinks he's a puppy. We just had a baby and have another dog that has bitten Achilles. Achilles does not defend himself so we are afraid that the other dog will really hurt him one day. With the baby, we also just don't have enough time for this sweet boy. He is house trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He knows sit, lay down, and kind of stay. He does not understand the concept of fetch but loves to be chased. He is crated when we are not at home as he is too smart for his own good and can get food in the pantry and even drawers. He takes time to warm up around strangers, men especially. He is very protective of his family and home. I really wish we could keep him but he deserves a safe home where he can get the attention he deserves.
