Story
My name is Roxie! I'm mostly white except for the cutest black and pink spots on my nose and my tail. I am about a year old and love to play fetch. I like to go outside with my foster family and love my squeaky toy. With my favorite toy in my mouth, I'm happy to sit and flop on the kitchen floor in the evenings when my foster family is cooking dinner. I love being loved on by my people! When I meet strangers, I am a little shy, but I warm up really quickly! I am a quick learner when it comes to potty training and am learning to show signals, such as going to the back door when I need to go. I settle into my crate at night and sleep through the night. Now I am looking for a forever family to call my own. Could that family be yours? Email info@habitat4paws.org for an application. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Hi, My name is Baxter and I am an 11 yr young Westie who is looking for his furever home. My foster Mom has written up some things about me and I do believe she has me pegged. BOL. Cant wait to meet you..... Baxter is a very loving guy who loves belly scratches and treats. He’s a real wiggle-butt when he wants hugs and kisses! He’s great with other dogs and knows his name. If you call out to him, he will give a bark to let you know where he is. He’s crated-trained and feels safest in his little home. He will need an owner who is patient and willing to encourage him to leave his crate and explore the world. Once outside, he loves to sniff the yard and let everyone know he’s been there. He is house-trained and does not have accidents in the house. I have not been able to get him to use the dog door yet, but as he is very treat motivated, I have high hopes we’ll get him familiar with it! He’s not a jumper, so he would be good for households who prefer the dog to stay off the furniture, although he’s happy to snuggle with you in a chair or sofa. He loves to be cuddled. With all the rain lately, we’ve not been able to go on a walk, but his former owner says he loves to walk. He appears to be good on a leash. For an older guy, he’s got plenty of energy! All in all, he’s a happy, cooperative boy who wants to feel safe and secure in a new home. Oh, and I love popcorn, so beware !! Westie Hugs and Kisses, Baxter If you would like to know more about Baxter, please submit your application to www.wrnt.org.

Story
Hi! My name is Nacho! I'm a huge cuddle bug searching for a family of cuddlers. I get along with all my doggie friends. What is a cat? I bet I would like those pets too but only time will tell. I'm a little guy at 35-40 pounds so perfectly suitable for a lap dog (at least in my mind). I love playing with the dogs but if my person sits on the couch, I'll be right next to them. I sleep quietly in my crate and seem to be potty trained. I am not a barker either. I'm pretty perfect and I can't wait to find my new family. I am heartworm positive and available for adoption because Habitat 4 Paws will cover the cost of treatment while I recover with my new family. After treatment, I will need two weeks of crate rest with potty breaks on a leash, and an additional two weeks of limited activity so that my heart rate does not get elevated. After that I can gradually ease back into normal activity for a normal healthy life! Email info@habitat4paws.org for an application. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Hi! My name is Levi! I had a hard start to life and humans have let me down and broken my heart, but don’t worry I’m a forgiving guy and I’m on the lookout for the perfect someone to help me glue my heart back together and love me for the rest of my life. I’m 5 years old now and pretty chill. I enjoy sleeping, relaxing on my foster family’s couch, and chewing on nylabones. In my spare time I like to pretend I’m a lap dog - I just LOVE cuddling into my humans and showering them with kisses. I even hold my foster sister’s hand when she reads me a bedtime story each night! I have SO much love to give! Due to my past, I’m looking for a family with happy and social other pets (sometimes other animals make me anxious). I’m missing a few of my teeth, so I’d really like a human friend who would get me soft food, or at least water down my dry food. In exchange, I’ll be your loyal companion and never leave your side. I’m a good boy who needs a family to call my own. So, what do you say? Can we be best friends forever? Email info@habitat4paws.org for an application. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Hi my name is Ramen! I am a 1 year old male who loves to play with other dogs and children! I’m fully grown medium size weighing 44 pounds. I’m a pretty chill dude, not overly hyper. I’m a quick learner and walk well on the leash. I am house trained but not a fan of being left alone. My foster family is working on crate training for me. I love to chew on my Kong and sunbathe in the backyard. Could I be the perfect dog for you? Story
Hi! My name is Jenny, I am a 1 year old beagle mix and I weigh 20lb. I try very hard to be a good girl. I am potty trained and know to go to the door when I need to go out. I love my crate and sleep well at night. My foster parents say I am a quick learner as I am learning to sit for my treats and not get too excited and jump up. My hobbies include squeaky toys, hanging out in the garden and walks. I love snuggles on the couch too! I am good on the leash and as I am getting along with my foster sister I think I can suit a family with or without pets. I would love a chance to meet my furever family!
