Story
I rescued Lexi from my son 12 years ago. She initially had in closure issues and does not appreciate being chained up. For the past 12 years, she has been free to roam our previous home. We have moved to a larger community that requires animals be enclosed in a fence, which does fine with, or constantly chained. Unfortunately, this is what it comes down to.. not a good feeling for her or me. In the winter, she came in at night and spent the day in her heated, insulated dog house. She truly needs to be in a freer environment. She is also very quite and laid back. Loves her treats and is only fed a grain free diet, due to allergies. She gets an annual check up and passes with flying colors. She is about 65 lbs. I am hoping to find a home that gives her the attention she enjoys along with an environment that allows her to be able to run or wonder as she wishes. A large fenced in yard will work great, or even a place in the country..

Story
Ashley is a sweet, shy 45 lb lab mix looking for a forever home. She was living outdoors in a sanctuary for the past several years with little human interaction. She does well with all sizes of other dogs. She doesn't really play with other dogs but seems to appreciate their leadership and ideally would have a four legged companion in her forever home. If she could have a place with a securely fenced yard for her to roam that would be amazing while she learns to trust. She loves walks with her foster family, but it took time for her to feel comfortable with her handler. Ashley prefers to get attention at her own pace. She is quite nervous at first so will need someone to be patient while keeping her safe so she isn't able to dart out of doors. Ashley loves wet dog food, comfy dog beds, and after she feels comfortable with her person, she loves to follow you everywhere and even lean in for some chin scratches. Ashley has free roam of the house when her foster is away. We are guessing Ashley to be around 9 years old, and her adoption fee is $100. Although Ashley is a bit of a project dog, we believe in the right home she will blossom and be a fantastic companion. If interested in meeting Ashley please apply at www.foreverhomedogs.org!All adoptions are $200 per dog which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $100 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.

Story
Ruby is a 60lb Aussie girl looking for a forever home. Ocean Blue eyes, soft long flowing hair, quiet, and a lover not a fighter. Ruby is the perfect bachelorette, her 9 years brings with her a sense of loyalty. Ruby is well over the juvenile scene and prefers long walks daily. She is not on twitter but she will follow you anywhere. She socializes with others of all breeds very well but is over the ""playing games in your face"" type relationship. If she was to share her home with another fur brother or sister she would prefer an older/chill type companion. She also loves a fence since she is free to explore and not be tied down. Ruby loves eggs on her morning food and prefers someone that can accommodate her tastes as she is a catch of a lady and deserves to be treated as such. She prefers soft pillows to sleep on and a lap to snuggle on since after all she thinks she is a lap dog. Her previous owner said she loves cats. If you are interested in making a match please fill out an application at www.foreverhomedogs.org since she is only taking appointments to meet her. Her adoption fee is $100.All adoptions are $200 per dog which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots.
