Story
Our sweet girl Peyton is a big ball of energy. We got Peyton from another family three years ago because she wasn’t getting along with their dogs. She is slightly territorial and gets very jealous for attention. We currently have a cat that she coexists with but I wouldn’t say their friends. She does best when she’s the star of the show. She is five years old but is still very energetic. She loves to run around so she would love a family with a nice big yard preferably fenced in. She doesn’t like being cooped up in the house and gets a little crazy if she doesn’t get a walk at least once a day. She likes walks but isn’t a fan of running unless it’s on her own terms. She is so very sweet and is great with people. She does like to bark when people walk by the house or the mailman comes but she’s a big baby. She’d love to cuddle with you if you let her but she’ll shed on you big time. She has a lot of love to give and we’re hoping we can find a family that loves her as much as we do.

Story
Video of Sammy playing at dog park. https://1drv.ms/v/s!AtGAMzmlSFFyhs5IPN-g1Z_P71rmLw?e=7lKb3o Got the dog from my Uncle. Dec 16 2014 is his birthday. The new home should have no young kids or babies. He get aggressive with toys. Once he has it he doesn't want to give it up. He is very protective of the home. He will be aggressive with anyone new inside the home but same person outside the home he is fine with doesn't care. He does like to go out to pee 3 times a day. He will poo on one of the 3 outside trips on a long walk. We recently moved to new house because our second baby is coming. The old house it was easy to separate the baby with the dog but new house is little bit more difficult to keep them separated. He did get aggressive with the baby with toys in the hand. We don't want to risk the dog getting too aggressive & biting one of our kids. He is very loyal & protective dog once he get familiar with the home.

Story
Twister is 10 years and 10 months old, male, a Shiba Inu mix and is about 60-65lbs. He is good around other dogs, better one-on-one. He has been around my two dogs often. He currently lives with a cat and there are no issues, but he does bark and chase the cat sometimes, but is never violent towards the cat. They cohabitate well. He has low energy and mainly lounges around on the floor, sometimes on the couch. He is house-trained and enjoys at least one walk a day. He has never been in a crate, nor has ever needed one. He is not a chewer of things he shouldn't have. Twister is not aggressive. He will bark if someone knocks on the door. He is very loving and insists on attention. He loves to sit by your side and be pet. If he needs love, he will be sure to come over and nudge your hand to get some! Twister is on medication for seizures (Phenobarbital) and has medication for anxiety during thunderstorms (Sileo). He does not handle storms well.

Story
Corbin is looking for his furever home through Blue Ridge Bull Terrier Rescue! Corbin is a handsome Bull Terrier guy that is searching for a family to call his own. He absolutely adores his humans! He is a cuddlebug that thrives on attention and companionship. He will make sure to paw or nudge when he thinks you should be giving him some lovins! Corbin is smart and eager to please. He has been working on basic commands like sit and stay, verbal and nonverbal, and is trying hard to perfect his leash manners along with taking treats gently. He is also learning how to wear a muzzle. Corbin loves to run and play. He is down for a game of fetch or chicken, enjoys going on runs alongside his foster dad’s bike, or can easily chill and work on a good chew toy. He also likes to sit in the window and watch the world; excited when squirrels or deer pass by. Sex: Male, neutered Age: 6 years old Weight: 58lbs Dogs: No Cats: No Kids: Ages 10+ Health: UTD on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped Behavior: Crate trained, house broken, nondestructive, has great manners in the home, rides well in the car, good for baths Special Requests: We would love to see Corbin have a home with a fenced back yard in a quieter area where he would not have to encounter other dogs on a regular basis If you are interested in adopting this lover boy, please apply here: https://www.brbtc.org/adoption-process/

Story
Cheaka is looking for her furever home through Blue Ridge Bull Terrier Rescue! Cheaka is an absolute sweetheart that came into rescue when her original owners moved out of the area. She has been thriving in her foster home while her health has been sorted out. Cheaka is a goofball! She is a happy girl who is always entertaining and will make you giggle with her bull terrier antics, even when she is doing something as simple as lounging around. Cheaka LOVES her humans and is a great snuggle partner. She has a lower energy level with just a few bursts of energy throughout the day; you might see a few rounds of zoomies! Cheaka enjoys a great game of tug or fetch, and can give some attention to a chew toy or stuffed animal. Sex: Female, spayed Age: 9 years old Weight: 52lbs Dogs: Yes. Friendly, excitable with other dogs Cats: Assume yes. Was reported by previous owner to be cat friendly. Displays no prey drive Kids: Ages 10+, can obsess over food, be nippy, not aggressively, just overly excited Health: UTD on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped. DEAF. Very long, curled under nails when came into rescue. Nails have been trimmed back and pads have healed. Will still be sensitive to pressure on front right foot occasionally, pain meds and massages are best when at its worst. Dry eye when came into rescue, since healed. Some urinary incontinence that is resolved with daily Proin medication. Skin allergies that require allergy medication. Several UTIs since in rescue, they resolve with meds. Possible kidney disease in her future, but has been seen by a specialist and nothing on the near horizon, monitor. Between the incontinence meds, allergy meds, and monthly preventatives, please be prepared to spend around $175 monthly. Cheaka might seem a bit intimidating health wise, but her love is totally worth it! Behavior: Housebroken, does not need to be crated, kept in gated off room when humans are not home, used to being in a fenced yard but will walk slowly on leash, likes to learn, eager to please, knows some hand signals, very food motivated If you are interested in adopting this happy little lady, please apply here: https://www.brbtc.org/adoption-process/ Cheaka is currently being fostered in Levittown, PA, but transport is available to the right home
