Story
This is a Courtesy Posting - not a Silver Lake Dog! Paige is a sweet Australian Shepherd. She weighs 70 lbs. She is a very lovable dog that lost her human and is looking for a new home to call her own. She walks well on a leash with harness; not known if she likes other dogs, but prefers no felines. She will chase squirrels, and loves having a yard to run in. She is good with older kids, but needs time to get to know them. She loves to give hugs, cuddles and play with her humans. One more thing Paige loves to chase bubbles! For more information please call Lisa at: 248-773-6992

Story
Draco is a fun loving, goofy, and sweet 2 year old dog who loves cuddling and receiving love and attention! He loves going on walks but also enjoys being lazy at home as well. He will protect you passionately and love you unconditionally. Draco is a dog who loves other people, but does not have great relations with other dogs, hence why we are asking for him to be put in a home without other canines. He has experience playing with and being around his fellow chicken and duck brothers and sisters in his home currently! He has a beautiful brindle coat, big sweet brown eyes, and a huge head that’s too big for his body. We would love for you to meet him and see how much he has to offer!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rory is being fostered in Madison Heights Michigan .Have you been wanting all the goofiness and love of a Boxer but in a pint sized package? Look no further. Little Miss Rory fits the bill. What she lacks in size she makes up in her big personality. As you all may remember, we pulled Rory from an overfull shelter in Detroit. She was brought into the shelter with cuts and bites all over her body, she was barely eating, she was skin and bones at only 27 lbs and could not put weight on her back leg. Once out of the shelter she was nervous and found safety in her kennel. We helped her recover through kennel cough and with all the love and care, Rory’s cuts started to heal, her fur started to come back and she really started to come out of her shell. Fast forward to today, an you would never know that this little, spunky girl is the same scared girl we pulled in February. She is beaming with happiness and shows it when she smiles with the cutest underbite ever. She loves to zoom around the house with the her resident furry siblings. She loves to cuddle and get human attention the very most. She demands pets all the time, so whoever adopts her must be okay with giving pets. If you aren’t giving her the attention she so deserves, she will bump her booty up against your leg to let you know that you are slacking on duty. I believe she would qualify as a “Velcro dog.” For a small girl she is actually quite strong. She LOVES LOVES LOVES to play with other dogs and would love a backyard to run around in. Her leash skills have improved tremendously since coming into rescue. She has also come far with now being almost completely potty trained, sleeps in bed through the entire night and now knows how to sit on command. She is super food and treat motivated so training her should go very well. We need an adopter committed to giving her the basic training she needs.  **behavioral issues that she will need continued work with are : She is very mouthy and high energy. Preference would go to someone that is home more often or can regularly exercise her as well as a home with another dog for rory to play with.  She will need to take some basic obedience class with her new owner so she knows what is expected of her and to help her become more well behaved Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.3/1/20.  We just moved Harley to a different foster home; a home where he can be assessmed much better as to if he is good with other dogs or cats. Also, he had some fear of men in his first foster home, so the current foster mom will be assessing him and working with him before he is available for adoption.  We do estimate that he will be over 100lbs as he does need to gain a few more pounds still.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
