JACK AVAILABLE FOR: Adoption BORN: January 2018 SEX: Male BREED: Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier Mix WEIGHT: 55 lbs. MARL ARRIVAL: Jack was transferred to MARL from another facility. BACKGROUND: Sometimes it easier to describe a dog with a simple phrase and for Jack, that phrase is "a whole lot of dog!" Whatever he is up to, he always puts his heart into everything he does 110%. Whether he's playing with other dogs, working on training or being a 60 lb. lap dog, you can be sure he's doing it with a smile on his face and a wag in his tail! His fun-loving energy is contagious and he's waiting for you to swing by MARL to meet him but be prepared--you're sure to fall in love! COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Jack has the potential to get along with other dogs. Jack would do best in a home without cats. MEDICAL NEEDS: None. ROCKY AVAILABLE FOR: Adoption BORN: May 2015 SEX: Male BREED: Boxer/Labrador Retriever Mix WEIGHT: 55 lbs. MARL ARRIVAL: Rocky was surrendered to MARL because his owner could no longer care for him. BACKGROUND: Say hello to Rocky! Rocky was surrendered because his owner couldn't care for him, and now he's on the hunt for a great new home! To him, the perfect home would have at least one person he could devote himself too as he is all about spending time with his people. Rocky can be a little uncomfortable around men he has never met but it doesn't take him long to warm up. Even though he's a big guy, Rocky loves to pretend that he's a tiny lap dog and cuddle up with his favorite people--he's pretty much the ideal date for a movie night at home on the couch! If you've been searching for a constant companion, then Rocky is the dog for you! COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Rocky has the potential to get along with other dogs and cats. Rocky would do best in a home with children 15 years or older. MEDICAL NEEDS: None. https://www.marleague.org/animal/rocky-4/

Meet Bread and Butter, These two beauties are 7-8 month old female hound mixes. They are a special case that is looking for the right forever home with a big heart. They are available for Foster to adopt. These little guys suffer from Megasophagus or MegaE for short. MegaE is a generalized enlargement of the esophagus. -a muscular tube connecting the throat to the stomach How do you treat this, some medication and the Bailey chair. These little pups are practicing eating in this chair. Once they’re done eating, they sit in the chair for 30 mins to allow the food to digest. This is new to them and they need a little training, but we’re working on it! Bread is full of energy, Butter is shy. They both want a family to love them! If you have any questions or would like more information, please fill out an application and you will be contacted by a TriCounty Dog Rescue Volunteer. Story
This is Annie which I call Annie Bell, my little Girl. She is 2.5 years old and is so misunderstood. She has anxiety that is being treated with meds and she sees a Behaviorist. She has been on her current medication now for a while and she is doing her VERY well. She has learned some new commands since she has been with me. She can shake paws, lay down and sit on command It is best she not be around small children as she is a herder, but Older kids are ok. Annie has resource guarding issues with food and toys. Feeding her separately is an easy solution. She gets very possessive over toys and will snarl and nip, but she has REALLY turned around from the frightened baby I got last June. Annie loves to cuddle with her people and snuggle in bed. She has made amazing strides and there is a perfect family out there for her. If you think you are the perfect match for this beautiful girl, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
