Story
Behold our spoiled and beloved only child! Unfortunately we are considering rehoming her due to behavioral issues that came about due to her seizure disorder. Rey has suffered with severe seizures since she turned 1 (she is now almost 4). We have trialed several different medications and she is currently taking 2 different meds multiple times a day (we use an automatic feeder so she gets everything on time even if we're not there). Her meds will cost around $30 a month and she will need regular vet visits for bloodwork. We think due to the severity and frequency of her seizures she has suffered some brain damage which causes unpredictable behaviors which may not be safe around young children which we plan to have. We would be happy to answer any questions about her behaviours, seizures, or medications. We're just hoping to find someone with patience willing to love this little girl who has given us so many laughs and snuggles.

Story
Meet Dixie VB:born~February 4 2015She weighs around 40 pounds.Dixie was picked up as a stray in Flint. She had completely shut down and was terrified. Upon entering her foster home it took time to gain her trust. She wants to play and love everyone. She is still very nervous, and needs a home without small children. She loves her foster mama and gives kisses and plays with her like a normal dog. She is learning to walk on a leash, but being out is very trying so we take it slow and with extra precautions. She will need an owner who will let her continue to grow in this scary human world. Dixie must have a yard that is fully fenced with a privacy fence, this is her safe place. She loves to go out and play in the yard and it is only fair we look for this in her new home. She is worth the time to gain her trust, we guarantee you won't be disappointed and this is what rescuing a dog is all about, you wold truly be her forever hero! She is currently living at Foster Care. She is house broken and crate trained.Dixie is a special needs dog because she can still be shy and needs training at her pace. She knows sit and is working on learning being back in a home. She is located near Petco Warren for meet and greets. She is not good with cats. Dixie needs an adult home with no pets. The adoption fee includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip!IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE check out our adoption information and COMPLETE OUR ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE: www.PAAWarren.org

Story
Meet Cosmo Lyons:born~2012Cosmo is a very nice boy! He is good with cats and with smaller or submissive dogs. He is not aggressive around any dogs, but as a preventative and to avoid any conflict, we wouldn't want to put him in a home with a dog that tried to rule the roost.Cosmo is a powerful dog, and could easily knock down a small child, so a home with no children, or only older and respectful children, over the age of 16, would be preferred. He is a sweet and affectionate boy, and would love to go on adventures with his new family! He was rescued as a stray and was determined to be heartworm positive, however he's had his treatment and is now ready for a new start on life!He is currently in foster care, but will be meeting new families most likely at Petco Troy! So if you would like to meet this guy please apply online today!

Story
We have a purebred beagle named Samson (not neutered), and a beagle mix named Emma(spaded). My husband rescued both of the dogs. Samson was bought to hunt rabbits. He didn't. The owner was going to put him down. Hubby took him. Emma was out and about. Hubby brought her home and got her fixed and healthy. My husband died in January. My job requires a LOT of travel. That's initially why he took them in "for company". Our son takes them from time to time so I don't have to put them in a kennel when I travel. Samson is so loving it hurts me to see him so sad and lonely. He's honestly a great dog. He even thinks he can talk. When I get up in the morning and watch the news or tell him about a trip he tries and responds to the conversation. It's really quite funny. Emma is independent. She wants a hug in the morning and a hug at night. Other than that she is cool just sitting on her pillow or the couch next too you. she does prefer the backyard to a leash walk.

Story
Karma is the best girl. Her whole life is pleasing her people. She loves to play catch, snuggle, and will do anything for a treat. Her best friend is our cat, Tank. We've had Karma since she was 9 weeks old. She will be 2 years old in December. She is crazy smart, house trained, crate trained and knows commands. She likes to jump up and give hugs. She'll be big or small spoon. It's with heavy hearts we think to rehome her. Karma has shown dog aggression which has gotten consistently worse. Karma must be the only dog in the house, and is also not to be socialized with other dogs. She has not been tested around children. I believe Karma would thrive in a single animal household. She loves to wrestle our cat, but we also believe Tank and her bond is special because they grew up together. I am willing to provide full accounts of each dog attack, but know that other dogs are not an option.
