Story

Behold our spoiled and beloved only child! Unfortunately we are considering rehoming her due to behavioral issues that came about due to her seizure disorder. Rey has suffered with severe seizures since she turned 1 (she is now almost 4). We have trialed several different medications and she is currently taking 2 different meds multiple times a day (we use an automatic feeder so she gets everything on time even if we're not there). Her meds will cost around $30 a month and she will need regular vet visits for bloodwork. We think due to the severity and frequency of her seizures she has suffered some brain damage which causes unpredictable behaviors which may not be safe around young children which we plan to have. We would be happy to answer any questions about her behaviours, seizures, or medications. We're just hoping to find someone with patience willing to love this little girl who has given us so many laughs and snuggles.

Henna is a 10 year old, wonderful gal that found herself at St. Clair County Animal Control, she was found as a stray.. and her family did not want her back. Our foster took her under her wing until she finds her furever home! She is fostered with large and small dogs and cats too! She gets along with every animal and every person she meets! Henna is a pretty chill girl that loves car rides and doesn't mind that bath either. She does have some allergies that we have under control with Apoquel.. they went untreated for a very, very long time. Her bloodwork came back perfect, she is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and she is heartworm negative. Meet Ana! She is an approx. 2yr old Staffy mix, only around 38lbs! She was found on the streets of Detroit, & found herself at Detroit Animal Care & Control, where she was scared & not doing well. Look at her now! She is happy & full of life, with so much love to give! Ana girl knows basic commands, is PERFECT on a leash, great in the car & is housebroken & crate trained. She is learning personal space & will need a home/person that will continue to build her confidence. She is very treat motivated. Ana has the cutest, fastest zoomies around, & gets along with other dogs that are lower energy. She would do well with kids 10yrs old & up, & no kitty friends for her (she's scared of them.) Foster was found in Detroit and never claimed. So he was neutered, heartworm tested negative, brought up to date on his shots and received a microchip. Foster is looking for a loving home. He likes an active family that likes walks and bike rides. He likes to play ball and loves his toys. He does well with other dogs his size. He can sit and shake and he will stay for a treat. He will sleep in a crate or on a pillow on bedroom floor. He may not be ideal for small children. He is a big boy and may knock small children over. Foster is a big love bug and would love someone who can give him a forever home. Foster's adoption fee is $125. Gus is a 6yr old American Bulldog/Pit Mix. He's a big, clumsy guy that is housebroken & crate trained. He does well on the leash for walks, knows basic commands & is a cuddle king. Gus would do best in a home without other animals. Due to his size we recommend a home with children 12yrs old & older. Gus loves to go for car rides & is great for baths, too! Driver is a 2yr old Pointer/Pit mix. She is a super smart girl that is eager to learn; she already knows commands such as Sit, Stay, Wait, Shake with both paws, Down, & Crate. She is still working on the "Off " command. She is great on a leash & loves walks. Driver is also great in the car & for baths. Driver will need slow introductions to other dogs, & will need a home without small animals (no kitties or small dogs for her.) She's a goofy girl that loves tennis balls & Nylabones. She also enjoys doggy puzzles! She is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped & Heartworm tested negative. She was found by a Detroit Firefighter running down the freeway.
