Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you think you know what Charlie's breeding might be, please do share! Based on his coat color, delicate face and medium size, we're guessing at some sort of hound/pointer and possibly Whippet ancestry.  Probably best to put him down as a 'Heinz 57'.  Charlie is leash and crate trained and is pretty well behaved inside the house.  He will do best in a home where he can spend a lot of time outside and would even make a great outside only dog.  He is friendly around other dogs and absolutely loves kids!  As with all our rescue dogs, Charlie has been neutered and is current on his vaccinations, worming, flea control and heartworm prevention.  His adoption fee is $95.00 plus a one-time charge of $10.99 for his lifetime microchip registration with HomeAgain.  If you have a loving home to offer Charlie, please click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to submit an online application (no cost or obligation).  Thanks for being a rescue dog's hero!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Oakley's foster reports he's a very affectionate and well-behaved dog, who gets along just great with people and other dogs (though we don't know about cats).  Oakley was rescued by an SPCA volunteer who thought he'd been dumped, and we discovered he'd been recently adopted from the shelter.  Yet Oakley was in excellent physical condition, with a beautiful soft, shiny and flea-free coat and had obviously been well cared for.  Neither the recent adopter nor his previous owner (traced through Oakley's microchip) returned our calls, just asking them if they didn't want him back, why not?  So we were left wondering why anyone would want to get rid of such a sweet and beautiful canine companion, whose worst crime seemed to be sleeping in his foster's favorite recliner?  The most likely answer is that Oakley has the wanderlust and jumps 4 foot fences with joyous abandon, though he did voluntarily return to his foster home (after several days!) by jumping back in!  Oakley also tends to bark excitedly at horses when they come up to the fence near him, so perhaps he chased livestock at his earlier home.  But he would make a wonderful family dog if they had a taller fence he couldn't jump, or for someone who could offer him plenty of exercise on leash or at a dog park.  As with all our rescue dogs, Oakley has been neutered and is current on his vaccinations, flea control and heartworm prevention.  His adoption fee is just $95.00 plus a one-time charge of $10.99 for his lifetime microchip registration with HomeAgain.  If you'd love to bring Oakley home with you please click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to submit an online application.  Thanks for thinking rescue!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
Meet Mr. Bigglesworth! He is a 7-year-old unique and silly boy and we aren't 100% sure on his breed, but think he may be a Tibetan Spaniel. He is roughly 7 pounds and has a big personality! He's got short legs, a charming underbite, and the cutest fluffy tail! He is one territorial little rascal as he loves to tackle a toy to protect it from another dog or yip at one going for his meal like he is a big ol' grizzly bear! He shadows the humans he favors like a bodyguard and he wants all the snuggles to himself! Don't be misled however, as long as other dogs aren't trying to take his stuff, Mr. B. loves other animals big or small. It does take him a little while to warm up because in a new environment he’s a bit fearful, but then of course he’ll stake his territory. He plays good, and if you want to play, play he will. If you want to go for a ride, he'll ride. If you want to take a long nap, yup, he'll do that too! If you choose to adopt him he’ll be near you for the rest of his days! His current foster is working on leash training, kennel training, and potty training with the help of a washable belly band. He is neutered, vaccinated, heart worm negative, and microchipped. He is $250 plus TX sales tax with an approved application: www.recycledpomsbcs.com/adopt Texas law requires that all humane organizations (Rescues, SPCA’s, Humane Societies, State nonprofit, and charitable 501c3 exempt orgs) collect and remit sales and use tax to the Texas Comptroller on their adoption fees. We do not ship or transport our dogs. We require all adopters to meet the dog in person to ensure it is a good fit. We represent the dog to the best of our ability and since they are in rescue, we do not always get their history. Please note: We are a non-profit Pomeranian Rescue with dogs in private foster homes. We do not have a facility open to the public. We require an approved application before a potential adopter is introduced to a dog. We contact vet references to ensure animals in the home are current on vaccinations, heart worm prevention, and sterilization. We do not adopt our dogs to homes in which an animal is not spayed or neutered. A home visit may be required. Story
Meet Goldie! He is approximately 10-years-old and 10 pounds. He is a sweet senior boy that is unfortunately missing most of his fur, most likely due to black skin disease and/or flea allergies. He was completely bald when he entered our rescue a couple months ago, and his fur is finally starting to come back in. He is a great little guy that deserves a forever home despite his appearance, and we hope someone can see his true potential and love him just the way he is. Goldie, or Snowball as his foster likes to call him, does great with other animals and doesn't mind kids. He can be a bit protective at times of his person and does struggle with separation anxiety. He is not a huge fan of the kennel, but he quiets down after a while. Unfortunately his foster has not been able to potty train him, but she has great success reducing marking with washable belly bands. Goldie walks well on a leash and loves going on car rides! He is neutered, vaccinated, heart worm negative, microchipped, and recently had a dental. He is $150 plus TX sales tax with an approved application: www.recycledpomsbcs.com/adopt Texas law requires that all humane organizations (Rescues, SPCA’s, Humane Societies, State nonprofit, and charitable 501c3 exempt orgs) collect and remit sales and use tax to the Texas Comptroller on their adoption fees. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet an adorable pair of canines (who can be adopted separately) named NOEL and Nicholas, who were rescued together from the tough and often hazardous life of strays by one of our dedicated SPCA volunteers.  Noel's appearance and size certainly resembles a purebred Manchester Terrier, but she might also be a 'Heinz 57' mix.  She seems very intelligent with a desire to understand and please.  Though little Nicholas looks so very different, he pays a lot of attention to Noel and follows her every move. They must have had some good experience with people as they're both friendly and quite calm, so should have a good chance of finding happy homes and becoming very loving companions.  As with all our rescue pets these two have already been spayed/neutered and are current on their vaccinations, worming, flea control and heartworm prevention.  All this for an adoption fee of just $95.00 each plus a one time charge of $10.99 for a lifetime microchip registration with HomeAgain.  If you'd welcome one or both of these canine charmers into your heart and home please click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to submit an online adoption application (no cost or obligation).  Discover just how great (and grateful!) rescue pets can be!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Duke is a handsome adult male Catahoula mix with stock dog instincts typical of his breed, also known to be very affectionate with their family! Looking at his athletic body profile we wonder if he might have some Greyhound or Whippet in him, with those long legs and delicate head.  Sadly his family decided to surrender him for adoption due to personal difficulties.  They advise that Duke might not be the best choice for a home with very small children, as he does his best to herd them together and keep 'em corraled!  Though he gets along fine with other dogs Duke does love to chase cats, so your feline friends would definitely not welcome him into the family.   Duke will do best with regular exercise and would make a wonderful walking or jogging companion.  His adoption fee of $95 includes completed neuter surgery and up to date vaccinations, worming, flea control and heartworm prevention. There's also a separate one-time charge of $10.99 for his lifetime, transferable microchip registration with HomeAgain.  If your 'grand duchy' could use a new Duke, please click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to fill out an online adoption application.  Thanks for thinking rescue!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
