Story
With just one look at those huge eyes and adorable underbite, you can’t help but falling in love with Sophie. And wait until you meet her too… what a personality!!! Sophie was surrendered by her owners and on death row for no apparent reason at all. She is about 2 to 3 years old, loves car rides, puppy lattes, running around the back yard, and playing with her humans. She is currently working on her socialization skills with other pups so she would do best in an only dog home for now. Sophie is such a gem, full of life and love to give. She's our sweet Baby Face :) For more information about Sophie, or any of our other adoptaBULL pups, visit www.goodlif3bullyrescue.org or email us at goodlif3adoptions@gmail.com

Story
Pretty Jarvie wandered up to a man while he was working in his yard. He thought she would leave and return home after awhile but she didn't. Jarvie was not wearing a collar with an ID tag and was not microchipped. FOUND DOG signs were posted around the neighborhood, in hopes of finding Jarvie's owners but sadly, no one responded. The man turned Jarvie over to Emmy's Hope Rescue.  Jarvie is a very friendly, spunky girl. She likes the company of other large dogs and loves to run and play. She seems almost too interested in cats and probably should not be trusted with them. She's learning the basic commands: sit, down, stay.  Estimated birthdate: August 2014 Approximate weight: 50 lbs. If you are interested in meeting Jarvie, please text or call Stephanie at: 281-622-6549. *** CRITERIA for adopting from EHR*** YOU MUST: 1. Be 21 years or older. 2. Have a fenced yard. 3. Have a good vet record with current and / or past pets - annual vaccinations, heart worm testing and use a monthly HW preventative.

Story
Hillary and her buddy, Tom were found in a Tomball church parking lot.  She wasn't wearing a collar or ID tags and she had no microchip.  Sadly, no "LOST DOG" signs were posted in the nearby neighborhoods. Hillary had scars on her face, indicating that her former life might not have been an easy one. But now she is learning to accept and enjoy affection from her caregivers at Emmy's Hope Rescue. Hillary is somewhat timid and cautious when she meets someone new but when she becomes comfortable and trusts you, she happily wags her tail and runs in circles. :)) Hillary is a sweet girl and deserves the second chapter of her life to be as special as she is. She deserves  a loving, secure and peaceful place to call home. Estimated Birthdate: September, 2010   Approximate weight: 48 lbs. If you would like to meet Hillary please call or text Stephanie at: 281-622-6549 CRITERIA for adopting from EHR*** YOU MUST: 1. Be 21 years or older. 2. Have a fenced yard. 3. Have at least 2 years of  good vet history with current and / or past pets - annual vaccinations, heart worm testing and using a monthly HW preventative.

Story
Happy has been in and out of several homes since he was a tiny puppy. His first owner listed him on Craigslist. His third owner found him wearing the second owner's ID tags, but when contacted they said they did not want him anymore. Happy was surrendered to Emmy's Hope Rescue in January 2015.  His third / last family was moving out of the country and could not take him. Happy came to Emmy's Hope heartworm positive. He has gone through the treatment and was cured of heartworms. :))  Happy is good with cats and he likes to run and play outside with other little dogs his size. When playtime is over and he is called inside, he comes right away. He is very good about going back inside his kennel, in fact he considers it his safety zone. Happy enjoys being petted but does not really like to sit in your lap, he prefers sitting beside you. He will snap at young children, they make him very nervous. Little Happy has been waiting a long time to find his special family, the one that will love and keep him forever this time. Estimated birthdate - Jan. 2013. Estimated weight - 10 lbs. If you would like to meet Happy, please call or text Stephanie at 281-622-6549. *** ADOPTION  CRITERIA *** YOU MUST: 1. Live in the Houston area (no more than an hour's drive away). 2. Be 21 years or older. 3. Have a fenced yard. 4. Have at least 2 years of good vet history, with current and / or past pets, including: annual Rabies and DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza) vaccinations, annual heart worm test and using a monthly heartworm preventative.

Story
Big sweet handsome Oreo was dumped in a rural neighborhood and left to fend for himself.  Just a big baby when first rescued by Emmy's Hope, Oreo weighed about 50 lbs.      But he continued to grow over the next year!  Oreo is very friendly, like a big lovable teddy bear with people. He loves to wrestle and play with other big dogs. Oreo would be great with older kids and would definitely enjoy a large yard to run in. Estimated birthdate: July 2014    Approximate weight: 90 lbs. If you would like to meet Oreo, please call or text Stephanie at 281-622-6549.
