Story
Kenji is a great home and family dog, or trusty companion dog. He shares and loves the energy of his owner(s) - whatever you are doing, he is interested in being right there with you. Things he really LOVES are walks, taking rides in the car, sniffing everything outside, and food. He is a bit older now (9) so he has slowed down a little bit. He is very calm, friendly, and attentive and is also a good watchdog(barking). He is well trained and a good listener and learner. If he is doing something wrong - he will listen to your criticism! He lives to be your best friend. The only area where he struggles is with new dogs. He has lived and gotten used to other dogs, but random dogs on the street or in dog parks could be stressful. He has sometimes shown barking/leash pulling aggression, but mostly he is just wary of other dogs, not quick to trust. He seems to have the most problem when he is on a leash, but the other dog isn't. He has never been in a fight with or hurt an animal or person.

Story
Charger is a loving boy with a few quirks. We adopted him a year ago, without knowing how he'd be in a home with other animals. We have tried for a long time now, but we truly believe he would be far better fitted as an only pet. He shows heightened levels of anxiety, particularly when other animals or larger groups of people are present. There are a few things that can really set it off though, like the following -bright lights -Reflective light glare -Lasers -Smoke -fire These things will send him in a barking fit and and he will literally try to climb up walls to get to whatever it is. Another reason we recommend he be a single pet is because he does show signs of food aggression, mostly towards other animals, but also unfamiliar humans. He was very skinny when we adopted him and was very likely underfed and malnourished, because of this he is very protective of his food, and cannot be self fed Please consider Charger as a new addition to your family!

Story
Bella is a sweet, obnoxious clown. She can get worked up and overly excited with company. She will growl and bark out of excitement (not anger), but it can sound scary. The calmer you are with her, the calmer she is. She has some barrier issues. She doesn't like people behind counters or tables (at vet's). She was picked up on the streets of Sacramento, so we don't know what she experienced. She loves other dogs, except if she can bully them she will. She does fine with cats. She came to us with skin issues, that have been brought under control with grain free dog food and Apoquel from the vet (about $100 a month for prescription). That's the tough stuff. Now the good: She is a loving and playful dog. She is a couch potato if she can be by you. She needs someone who will take to the beach and on hikes and be consistent with her. We are two old ladies and she's too much dog for us as much as we love her, she deserves a more active life. She is almost 5 years old.

Story
Brynn is an amazing sweet and very spoiled 4 yr old dog. We bought her from a reputable dog breeder with the intention of hunting birds. We had her trained professionally and then life changed and we only took her hunting once. She loved it!! Well several years later she still has the joy of chasing after birds but as we live in town with no real grass, space or time (due to our jobs) she is bored!! This is the ONLY reason we are looking into rehoming her. She is super loving, gets along great with other dogs, plays gently with our grandkids and believes herself to be a giant lapdog. She would love to play with kids, you or other dogs all day and to be able to run! She is kennel trained, but also does really well alone in a room. She doesn’t chew the furniture or dig holes, and loves to go for rides in the car. She does have one medical issue of frequent urination and takes Proin 50mg with her meals to help with that. Otherwise she is super healthy, and very happy.
