ADOPTION EVENT November 9th, 2013 Aurora Petco1241 North 205th Seattle, WA 98133 Come meet our adoptable pets on Saturday November 9th, 2013 - you may just find your next forever companion. NOTE: In order to adopt a pet from NWIPR you must have an approved adoption application. So if you find your next companion at the event you will need to turn an adoption application and await application approval (vet check, screening, home check) before adopting your new pet. Or turn in the application ahead of time! Due to the immunization schedules in puppies and their susceptibility to illnesses. No puppies under the age of 16-weeks attend our adoption events. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE! FUTURE EVENTS @ Aurora Petco TO BE DETERMINED WE ARE A NON-PROFIT 501c3 ORGANIZATION AND A REGISTERED WA STATE CHARITY All dogs leave rescue vaccinated, sterilized, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and medically checked out. In some cases they receive dentals, ear flush, cherry eye surgery, and so on to ensure that they are healthy and ready to be adopted. Your adoption donation is very much appreciated and needed to help care for the many needy dogs that enter into rescue. New adopters receive a FREE exam coupon at a local veterinary clinic in Lynnwood OR a $30 care voucher to a veterinary chain (so be sure to ask about these coupons if you are interested). NWIPR's adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, screening, in person meeting, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract. NWIPR is the pet's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general and unique needs, therefore adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption for any reason. 'Saving just one pet won't change the world ... but, surely, the world will change for that one pet' author unknown

IMMEDIATE FOSTER NEEDS We have several small to medium size dogs we want to save, however we need more foster homes to do so. Can you help? NWIPR is always in need of loving, caring, and committed foster homes. The more fosters, the more pets we can save. Our foster homes are the backbone to our organization! You will care for and socialize the pet while that pet's ideal, forever home is found. You may also be involved in some of the transport functions (e.g., vet, groomer, training facility). NWIPR's fosters are the pet's advocate and will help select the most suitably matched home for the pet's general and unique needs. Your insight, evaluation, and care are essential in finding the proper home for your foster pet. We work mainly with local shelters, other dog rescue organizations and individuals, to help these wonderful and deserving pets. Without foster homes we cannot save dogs. We do not have a facility; we are solely a foster home program. In addition, NWIPR will cover all approved veterinary care of the foster pet. If you are in need of support on food, please let us know so we can accommodate your needs. Thank you very much for considering to be a foster home. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. WE ARE A NON-PROFIT 501c3 ORGANIZATION AND A REGISTERED WA STATE CHARITY **Please complete the Volunteer Application to begin helping** 'Saving just one pet won't change the world ... but, surely, the world will change for that one pet' author unknown

Story
THEY HAVE ALL FOUND FUREVER HOMES Once they have the care they need they will be placed for adoption -- Meet Portia, Lenny, Buster, and Roscoe We have rarely come to the public for assistance, but this month we have been asked to help out with a hoarding case. We have 4 lovely Boston Terriers that were taken from a cruelty/neglect hoarders home. These sweet Bostons have extensive dental needs and we could use your support to help get them the care they need so they can begin their new journey and a great new life. We are now reaching out and graciously asking for your support so we can give them the quality of life they so deserve. Any amount will help us help them (donating options below- and of course you will get a tax receipt as we are a 501c3). We thank you in advance for your support. Story
Andre is a great and loving dog. He does bark in the car at motorcycles and barks when you leave him in the car. I adopted him three years ago. My husband passed away and I am trying things to do and don't have time for Andre - he needs lots of loving and is good with kids of all ages. He does not fetch or swim, I think it is because he spent 3 years in a kennel or adoption center. He came from Texas. I know he can be trained to fetch and swim. I take him to the Marina Dog park in Edmonds, WA Everday and he loves getting the energy out of him. Loves little puppy's that crawl all over him and play with his ears. I really love Andre, however with my traveling I will not be able to take care of him as I want to. I would have to board him, which I really don't like. Thank-you for your consideration.

Story
Callie is a bonded Catahoula. When she was a puppy she fell and had elbow/ knee replacement which saved her but gives her fatigue faster than others her breed. She is an absolute love who craves 1-1 attention and companionship. She will sleep next to/ on you and never leave your side. She is a wonderful obedient dog that deserves to be in a 1 doggie household where she can ride in cars and be spoiled. She is 5 years old and our getting another dog caused her to act our aggressively to the dogs. Not her fault but common with her breed. She will flourish where she can be your top dog.
