Story
Sammy was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea in 2015, at roughly 1 year old. We adopted her knowing she needed a lot of work and professional training (Sparks K9). She was scared of stairs, leashes, and had never had toys or treats. Fast forward to now and she's a completely different dog. She's more confident, but still timid with strangers and new situations. She walks great on a leash, knows basic commands, and is house-trained. She'd love nothing more than to sleep on the couch or with her people. She needs a large fenced yard but is lazy. Because of Sammy's rough beginning and having to fight for everything, she has twice hurt our other dogs. Both times she was provoked by the other dog, but she still was very aggressive and did serious damage to the other dogs. While more professional training may help, we feel she is being triggered by her past and therefore should not live with other dogs going forward. She has never come close to being aggresive towards a person.

Story
Luba is a 4 year old Pittie. She is very loving and very cuddly. Her ideal home would have plenty of yard and outside time. She loves lounging in the sun and chasing bugs! Her ideal owner would have lots of one on one time for her and patience. She has had problems with anxiety. She is reactive on her leash. She does not do well with other dogs and should be the only dog in the house.

Story
Raven is a 5 year old pitbull/boxer mix. She is playful and loves attention! Her favorite things to do are go on walks with her human and play fetch! An ideal home for her would be an large child/adult only home (under 10 years) and no dogs smaller than 25 lbs. Cats ok. She has done well when we lived in apartments and has done great now that we live on acreage. We are expecting a baby in a couple weeks and have tried to get her prepared for a newborn but she is just not adjusting and we feel its more unfair to keep her in an environment that will stress her out more than anything and put the new baby at risk. She has never had any health issues, other than weight fluctuations, but the vet said that is just common for the breed and nothing of concern. She is spayed chipped, and up to date on her annual exam and vaccines. Can provide new owner with records from the vet. She is a great dog and we hope someone loving home to make this transition easier on all of us!

Story
Hazel was adopted by us at 10 weeks of age from Texas. She is currently almost 8 months old. Hazel is extremely smart and would make a fantastic agility dog for someone who has the time and resources. She is potty trained to ring the bell when she needs to go out. She plays well, though sometimes rough, with our 2 year old cat. Hazel is a great walker on a harness (trained to walk on the right side). Hazel is a resource guarder and will need a home without children which is the main reason she is listed. There are strict guidelines that need to be followed and a home with kids makes that extremely difficult. She is strong willed and needs consistency with her continued training. The skill she needs most work on is coming when called and not just with her recall word. Hazel is crate trained.

Story
RB is a 10 year old Mini Aussie, who is seriously the light of our lives. He isn’t your typical high energy aussie, he is much more laid back and docile. But he also loves car rides, hiking, camping, boating etc. As long as he is with his people and not around strangers/big groups of people he is an absolute doll. He loves other dogs as long as they are not aggressive. He often plays the submissive role with other dogs and is humorously afraid of cats! RBs aussie shows in his protective nature however. And he has had incidents of fear aggression and biting. We are seeking a home for him with no children/grandchildren. For a single person or a couple that have some land for him to run on. People who don’t travel too often and don’t host/entertain at their house and don’t have a lot of visitors. RB needs to have a fenced yard and a kennel to put him away in if company is coming by. Our hearts break that we need to rehome him as we start a family of our own.
