Story
Ebony is a rescue from Tucson, AZ. She is incredibly sweet and very mellow. She is eager to please and works very hard at being a good girl. She doesn't chew, bite, dig, or bark incessantly. She's also a light shedder with a short coat. She wants to be with you and get your love and affection, 24/7! She likes to play but is still learning how. She loves outdoor adventures! Ebony struggles to be alone; we aren't certain what she endured before she was adopted, but the effects remain. In Tucson, a member of our family was typically home most of the time because my husband worked from home. We recently moved to Seattle and my husband now commutes to work. This means Ebony is most often alone and this is stressful for her. We are realizing how little time any one of us can give her and over the weeks she is showing us how sad and upsetting this is for her. She needs a home with company most of the time and someone who is an experienced dog owner who can help her and aid her emotionally.

Story
Leilani is a sweet and loving 3-4yo Bully/Cattle Dog mix. She is smart, loyal and loves her people! Leilani weighs about 50lbs and is a big bundle of love who enjoys adventuring around the PNW. Leilani is a very smart girl and would love a family that will work on obedience training with her, and possibly agility training for some extra fun! Leilani loves being outside and would also make a good hiking or trail partner. Leilani requires a single owner home (no kids) with dog experience. She would thrive with someone who has a fenced yard for her to run around and get her exercise in. Leilani has done fine on walks around other dogs but we think she should be the only dog in the home, and no cats for her. She is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $150.

Story
Milky is a 3.5 year old, 40lb, black mouth cur/plott hound mix. She is an energetic lady who loves to run, play and hang with her people after a good romp outside. She is an incredibly agile girl for her age and can jump and climb - her dream home has an agility yard where she can truly show off her talents but she is also happy with a family that likes to go on adventures outside or play in the yard. Due to Milky's activity level she needs someone who is fairly active and can job with her daily. Milky cannot be left alone outside unsupervised or she will climb out of the yard to seek out her people. Milky is looking for a family that will invest in her and make her feel so loved. Families with kids over the age of 8 due to her energy level would be best and for those wondering, no cats or other dogs please! Milky is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $150.

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Maxie is a sweet, beautiful, wiggle butt of a girl! She is roughly 3-4 years old and around 55lbs. Maxie is active and needs a family that is committed to getting her proper exercise and working with her on obedience training. She can be shy with some people but her curiosity and sweet nature will quickly win out and she will lean on you to get your attention and affection. She is extremely loving and sweet with her people! She would do okay with another male or a submissive female dog but they would need to be approximately her size or larger and nothing small. She meets most dogs ok but her energy can be a bit off-putting. Requirements: Kids over the age of 10. Herding breed experience and training needed. She has food guarding issues even with people so a dog experienced family is needed. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $400.

Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Loki is a 2 year old Shih tzu mix. He's roughly 12lbs and was an owner surrender. Loki came to us very afraid and didn't want to leave his kennel. After a few days of watching the other dogs interact, Loki decided to come out of his kennel and join the world. Since then, Loki has become playful, loves the company of other dogs, is housebroken, kennel trained, walks well on a leash and has learned to play with toys. While Loki has come a long way, he needs to be in a confident home surrounded by calm energy, no kids and another dog to hang out with would be great but isn't required. We think that Loki would be ok with a dog savvy cat that doesn't run. Loki can be nip when fearful and would need a family who's patient and will win his trust. Loki is neutered, UTD on his vaccinations and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $400.

Seattle, WA
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Doc is a poodle/terrier mix. He is roughly 3 years old and came into rescue 2 years ago with two other brothers. The pups had been through a lot and Doc is just now starting to build trust. Doc is painfully shy with people. Doc is looking for an adult only home that is low key, patient and gentle. Doc loves to be loved but he can startle easily as he continues to adjust to everyday life. Doc currently attends doggie daycare with other small dogs to continue to build his awareness, trust and understanding of the human world. He needs support with his potty training, leash skills and basic obedience. He would do best in an home with a yard. He's not great walkling on a leash. Doc is a puppy-mill dog that would ideally be placed in a home with rescue experience or someone who has a lot of time to dedicate to bring him out of his shell. He is UTD on shots, neutered and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $400.
