Story

We rescued Ralphie from a dog shelter on the island of Isla Mujeres, Mexico. He was 2 months old. We met a Canadian couple on the beach by the place we were staying and they told us about this shelter, so we decided to visit and help them out for a few hours, we ended up falling in love with Ralphie and bringing him home. He's an incredibly loving pup, he is great with kids (just a little overwhelming if they're toddlers, w/licking and energy). He's great with other dogs and people. He's potty trained and house trained, he's just fine in the house when we're gone. He hasn't been in a kennel for over a year. A year and a half in Ralphie hit a territorial phase and I had to break up a dozen fights between the two. We had a trainer come in which seemed to work and no fights happened for a year+, until this past mid December, they fought twice since and we can't chance this with our 2 year old daughter around. It breaks our hearts to have to re-home him, but we have no other choice.

Story

Sassy has a sweet loving disposition. She was a rescue from dog pound. She is great to live with, doesn't get in trash, completely housebroken, will eat treats in assigned area. Only gets on furniture if invited. She loves attention but will go lay down if told. She is protective and has a big bark. The only time she barks is if someone knocks on door or otherwise approaches the home. She is great with children. She chases cats and squirrels. She loves people and will want to be with you. She loves dogs. Fun to take on walks. We have done 2 miles many days. When doing hilly areas she will help pull you uphill. She loves being outdoors and loves taking naps. She is from AZ so this is her first year in NW. When I got her I had home with fenced yard. Now live in apt. She does not crate and will try to get out if locked alone in home. Would need to be left in yard. She is good in car, will wait for you. She would be great for a family, active couple or a guy that would bring her along.

We got Ace last March from a family friend who had a litter of puppies. He has been a great boy; easy to potty train, fun to cuddle, loves to go on walks. He has some behavioral problems that are the product of not good training on our end. I was not as prepared as I thought for a puppy and ultimately do not have the space he needs. I hope to find a home for him with a big yard he can run around to his hearts content, sunbath and dig holes in.

She still has lots of energy and needs lots of attentions as she is still a baby. We got her about a year ago from a family friend and has since fallen in love With her. She loves to play fetch and lots of Lap time.
