Story
Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal: Hi, my name is BOSWORTH and I would love to meet you. I am a Neutered Male Siberian Husky and St Bernard - Smooth Coated. The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 6 months old. I have been at the shelter since Jul 20, 2019. Meet Bosworth! This striking boy came to the shelter as a stray and staff and volunteers have been getting to know him ever since. *****BOSWORTH PUPDATE! - Bos is currently attending a 30 day board and train program where he is working hard on his manners and burning off some energy. This program does include a complimentary followup session with Bosworth`s personal trainer!***** Personality: When Bos first strolled in, he was a whole lot of dog. The volunteers and staff have been working very hard to teach Bosworth some basic manners since his arrival and his behavior has greatly improved. He now knows sit, down, and shake. Bos is motivated and fun to train. He`s even learned how to walk on a treadmill and climb an agility A frame! He also rides well in a car. History: Bosworth needs to be the ONLY PET in the home, and he cannot live near livestock. While Bosworth does not want to share his home with other pets, he is not reactive when he sees other dogs while out on leash. Energy levels: Bosworth is a busy, active boy who craves both mental and physical stimulation. He would make an incredible agility dog and needs a home that is prepared to do ongoing training with him - nosework, barn hunt, rally obedience, tracking, etc. This guy MAY just be smarter than you! Ideal home: Bosworth needs a home with ADULTS ONLY who are prepared to manage his size and energy levels. He will need a home with a large, fenced yard to run and play in, and would do best in a home that has some experience with big, boisterous dogs. This energetic and smart pup is ready for a lifetime of adventure with his new family. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING? E-MAIL DOGFOSTER@THEHUMANESOCIETY.ORG!!!!

Story
Maisey Mae is a wonderful, crazy intelligent, quick learning, energetic pup. She loves to sit on your feet and on your lap. She minds well with commands and can learn incredibly quickly. Maisey is crate trained and does well having her space. Maisey came to the PNW via a rescue in Texas and has been with us for a couple of years. She loves to play and but does not recognize that smaller dogs may need a more gentle approach. Maisey would do well in a home where she is a single dog with a yard or with daily walks. She would love to sit on your couch and sit on your feet by the fire. Hikes are fun for her. We are reluctant to let her go but are finding that our small dog and chickens aren't big enough to play with lol.

Stitch has an adventurous spirit and loves to go hiking and explore the great outdoors. He would love an adopter who is active and will take him on lots of adventures. He enjoys swimming, running, hiking, and climbing on all the boulders and fallen trees he finds along the path. Stitch enjoys playing with toys, including balls and squeaky toys. He's a pro at fetch and loves playing tug of war too! Stitch is playful and friendly. He is house trained and crate trained. He already knows "sit", "stay", "down", "come", and "relax". Stitch is treat motivated and would love to learn even more fun tricks and skills through positive reinforcement training. Stitch should be the only pet in his home and needs a home without kids, as he can be protective of his toys and bed. He would do best in a home with a large fully fenced in yard so he can play and romp around. If you have the perfect home for Stitch, ask about meeting him today! Story
Violet gave birth to 4 beautiful puppies on December 6th in Missouri, before coming to WA state. She is a very sweet and small girl, only weighing in at 35 pounds. Violet would be happiest in a home without other dogs or children. She is great on a leash and sits slowly on command. She loves to go for walks and loves her squeeky toys! She is not great in the car - she gets a bit car sick. She can roam free in the home, we are not home and is completely potty trained. She is a shy, sweet, sensitive lady. She would do best in a quiet home that would like a walking partner! KARE reserves the right to adopt to residents of Western Washington, only.
