Story
Clover is an awesome dog! She has been around horses, pigs, & chickens. She loves to go on long hikes and long jogs. Clover is good with older kids age 10 and up. She will need lots of room to run so a farm or large property is preferred. A person that works from home or is retired is ideal. Also, Clover needs to be in a single dog home. She loves to be around her human! Clover does well on car rides. She weighs about 90 lbs and walks on a leash well and without pulling. She is six years old. I have to re-home due to my travel schedule. I cannot give her the exercise and attention she needs. If you are interested please contact me with any questions you may have. Thank you!

Story
+++ REQUIRES ANOTHER DOG IN THE HOME +++ NAME: MR. DOCTOR MAN (named after a song by Palaye Royale) LITTER: MR. DOCTOR MAN is part of the "PALAYE ROYALE" litter". AGE/GENDER: Baby 8.1.19, Male BREED: KOREAN JINDO MIX TEMPERAMENT: Shy, rambunctious, inquisitive WEIGHT: estimated adult weight 40-50 lbs HOUSE TRAINING: Not yet! He is a baby so he'll need a consistent schedule with multiple opportunities daily to go outside while he works on it. Puppies should not be considered reliable in regard to housetraining until 6-12 months of age. They're a lot like toddlers, who require diapers! CRATE TRAINING: Good, he's young and trainable! OTHER DOGS: GREAT! He will need continued socialization, like all puppies! CATS: Good! Continued socialization will be important! CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 12 and older - Mr. Doctor Man is fearful of children and their quick movements ADOPTION DONATION: $500 HEALTH: MR. DOCTOR MAN is healthy! Prior to adoption, puppies will be altered, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Puppies are given vaccination boosters in our care; however, adoptive families will be responsible for the remaining vaccinations that puppies need. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs.  HISTORY: MR. DOCTOR MAN came to us via our friends Go Rescue Korea. He is a survivor of the dog meat trade and flown here from Korea to have a chance at a better life. NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: MR. DOCTOR MAN is a puppy so he's playful and has a lot of puppy energy! He is super cute and fun, but a lot of work. His forever family should be committed to lots of training - obedience, housetraining, and socialization. This will ensure that MR. DOCTOR MAN grows into a confident, well behaved adult! Puppies' personalities are dependent on their environment, and the structure and training they are given, in addition to socialization. Their personalities continue to grow and be shaped by their new adoptive families. Puppy daycare and socialization classes or puppy kindergarten are highly recommended for their personal development. He will more than reward you for all your hard work with lots of love, loyalty, and laughs.   MR. DOCTOR MAN is a former meat dog. As such, he's learning how to interact with people and other dogs. He does great with other dogs, but can be a little pushy as a teenage male can, but takes direction easily. Because of this he will need a dog his size or larger. A confident friendly adult dog who can help mentor him and show him the world is not a scary place. Because right now, for Mr. Doctor Man, it can be a little overwhelming. Once he knows you, he loves to give kisses and play. He's learning not to jump on your in his excitement. He will need a patient and loving home who will take the time to give him the training and socialization he needs. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dog's particular needs.   ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is a volunteer run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo does not have a traditional shelter location, but instead, utilizes private foster homes which care for the animals individually, in a home environment, until a "furever" home is found. Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment" Dog Daycare & Training Studio in Redmond, WA which is a day-use facility and does not hold kennels of adoptable animals. The dogs there are owned animals who come to the facility while their families are at work and school so they can play and socialize in a safe environment. We dub this service our "Year-round" fundraising program which helps us support our rescue animals and the $15,000/ month vet bills we incur. This Studio location does have an Adoptable Cat Lounge, where cats may live until adoption, which is the exception to any aforementioned rules. Please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application so we can get you started on the journey to finding a new, furry friend! Once you have been approved to adopt, then we can set up a meeting with the animal you have been matched with. For more information, please visit www.motleyzoo.org. *** SPONSOR ME *** FHO SURGERY NAME: MARKY MARK AGE/GENDER: DOB 5.17.18, Male BREED: PIT BULL MIX TEMPERAMENT: Playful, affectionate, and mischievous WEIGHT: 40ish lbs HOUSE TRAINING: Great.  CRATE TRAINING: Great.   OTHER DOGS: He loves to play with other dogs but can sometimes get overstimulated. Would be best as A SOLO DOG, as he can be dog selective. NO DOG PARKS. CATS: He's a little too exuberant and fixated, so probably best not to have a cat companion. CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older ADOPTION DONATION: $400 HEALTH: MARKY MARK is healthy! He had previous trauma to his hind leg and had an FHO to help his pain and mobility. He is altered, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs.  HISTORY: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find him a great forever family! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Marky Mark is an extremely loyal companion and there's nothing he likes better than being with his human. He has unfortunately had quite a number of homes already in his short life and can be a little unsure of people at first but it just takes a few minutes for him to warm up and become friends. He is an athletic boy and it's up to his people to keep his energy in check, as he can't be as active yet as he thinks he can. He loves walks and hikes, smelling the flowers is his favorite past time. He's such a happy-go-lucky little guy and always does a silly dance when given a treat. He also is a huge cuddler and really loves being the center of attention.  Due to Marky Mark's unstable upbringing (not enough socialization with others and especially not enough training), he would be best as a single dog as he can be overprotective of his favorite person in the house and doesn't like to share that attention with other dogs. Because of his protective nature and because he can get easily excitable and overstimulated, NO DOG PARKS. He's quite happy going on walks and hikes and not hanging out with other dogs. **IS MISSING BACK FEET AND REQUIRES A WHEELCHAIR ** NAME: COREY TAYLOR AGE/GENDER: DOB 3.2.19, Male BREED: TERRIER MIX TEMPERAMENT: Playful and mischievous WEIGHT: 40 lbs and growing!  HOUSE TRAINING: He's doing great, but you have to keep an eye on him when he's playing inside. He will go outside with guidance. Not a fan of the rain though. Guess he doesn't like getting his stubbies wet. CRATE TRAINING: Great. He sleeps in a crate and is crated when not supervised. Eats in his crate as well. OTHER DOGS: Great! He loves to play with other dogs. He would need a home with another dog to play with him. Otherwise he can be quite vocal and anxious. CATS: Should be okay since he can't jump and most likely they can outrun him. CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older ADOPTION DONATION: $500.00 HEALTH: COREY TAYLOR is missing his back feet (one leg is missing at the knee, the other leg is missing the foot). He requires a wheelchair to go out and about on adventures and it's better for his back rather than always in a hunched position due to his missing back legs. He loves to run and be out and about and social. HISTORY: Corey came to us from a shelter and Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find him a great forever family!  NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Corey is a wonderful boy. Very sweet and loving. He will bark for attention rather than alerting to strangers. He is crated when not supervised since he can easily escape ex-pens. Corey is a typical puppy and loves to chew on everything. You need to ensure that he has plenty of safe things to chew and keep an eye on him as he will chew inappropriate things if not supervised. He's a little scamp in that way. He also prefers to be active and loves being outside in the grass. He can get lonely and loves to play. He's can always be found to be with one of the dogs in his foster home. He's super social and friendly with all people and dogs. Although he can be a little bossy with pushy dogs, he can be pretty vocal, and he's a very playful rough and tumble kind of guy, so medium to large active dogs in the home would be preferred for him rather than smaller breeds. He gets along well without a wheelchair inside but outside to run around and go for walks and hikes, he needs a wheelchair. Inside he needs rugs and several dog beds as he prefers to be on cushions as his stubs are sensitive. She is curious and adventurous. *** LYN-Z IS BLIND AND REQUIRES ANOTHER FRIENDLY/OUTGOING DOG IN THE HOME *** NAME: LYN-Z WAY AGE/GENDER: 1 YEAR OLD FEMALE BREED: TERRIER MIX WEIGHT: 30 lbs TEMPERAMENT: SWEET, PLAYFUL, ENERGETIC HOUSE TRAINING: GOOD, WORKING ON IT STILL CRATE TRAINING: GOOD, BUT PREFERS TO BE OUT AND ABOUT OTHER DOGS: GREAT, LOVES OTHER DOGS, CAN PLAY A LITTLE ROUGH FOR LITTLE DOGS CATS: IS A CHASER CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older   ADOPTION DONATION: $400 HEALTH: LYN-Z IS BLIND. She is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental costs of care.    HISTORY: Lyn-Z came to us from our friends in Texas. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find Lyn-Z a great forever family!   NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: LYN-Z is a wonderful girl. She is sweet and affectionate. She does require another dog in the home. One who is kind, tolerant and playful, as blind dogs do best with a dog companion, someone her size or larger with her energy level. Her current best friend is a bulldog/pitbull mix. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She can play a little rough with small dogs as she can't see their corrections. She is learning not to jump, since blind dogs see with their paws and nose, they tend to jump on people in greeting for touch and smell. She will need to learn new commands such as Wall, Step, etc. as will the adopter to help her navigate the world better. She's an excellent mapper but when walking the adopter needs to teach her commands so that she won't run into walls or trip over curbs and go up or down stairs, etc..    All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar (or a harness, if necessary), depending on each dog's particular needs.   ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is a volunteer run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA.
