Story
Please note, we are a Texas based rescue that transports our pups once they are adopted. All of our dogs reside in foster homes, so much is known about their temperament, training level and personality. We know adopting a dog sight unseen can be daunting, so we are happy to share additional videos, photos and even let you Facetime with the pup. We are primarily an equine rescue, but do assist with a small number of dogs annually. We are happy to provide references from previous adopters if needed. Thank you for wanting to adopt! The Roxy clothing line is trending right now, and so am I!! How can you not want to add a darling 12 week old, 12 pound Labrador Retriever mix puppy to your oh so fashionable lifestyle!!? Even my looks scream "high fashion"!!! With my big brown eyes rimmed in kohl, thick dark eyebrows, and golden blond hair, I could double for Cara Delevingne!!!! I could be on the catwalk...or would it be a dogwalk?...in no time!! My Foster Mum calls me a "Love Bug"; I don't want to be disrespectful to Foster Mum, but I am 100% canine doggie, not an insect!! Sheesh...hoomans and their confusing sayings!! I do love to cuddle and am very affectionate...but, like most supermodels, I also like to party!! Throw a squeaky toy for me or get out the wading pool, and it is game on!! I love playing with toys and splashing about in H2O!!! If you feel like you can handle all of the "ooohing" and "aaaahing" when your friends and family meet me, please fill out an application and sign me today!!

"Because I'm happy Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth Because I'm happy Clap along if you know what happiness is to you" Ahhh..Pharrell William, your Happy Truth resonates with me!! I have a sunny, out going disposition and am always just so HAPPY!! I am a male, 12 week old, Labrador Retriver mix. Foster mom says that I am incredibly sweet and playful. I Love running, swimming, and meeting new people. I have a very outgoing, friendly, a goofy personality and a great smile (see accompanying photos!:) . I am an athletic guy and water activities are my favorite!! I love swimming, splashing, fetching, and just playing in the water...anything that involves H2O 😊 I am working on all of the rudimentary dog tasks that make my foster mom HAPPY; like going to my crate and sleeping quietly, doing my business outside, walking on and off leash, and coming when I am called. I am a just a puppy with a lot to learn, but I am very motivated to make my hooman(s) HAPPY! I get along well with other dogs, cats, kids, and big kids...aka adult type people!! I love just about everybody and everything!! Everything makes me so HAPPY! I would do best with an active family/couple/individual that has a large fenced yard. I really get HAPPY when we "load up" in the truck and go on adventures to new places and meet new people. I would be a great companion to take along on coffee runs, hikes, camping trips, or out to dinner. So, If "what you want to do" is adopt a companion with a sunny, positive outlook to share life, love, and adventures, please fill out an online application and we can become a HAPPY TEAM!!!

We are primarily an equine rescue, but do assist with a small number of dogs annually. We are happy to provide references from previous adopters if needed. Thank you for wanting to adopt! I was named after Arlo Guthrie, an American folk singer and songwriter. Like the original Arlo, I have a heart for all people and have never met a hooman that I didn't like! My nature is mellow, laid back and easy going. I am a certified"Good Dog" by an Animal Behaviorist....... trust me, folks, I can't make this stuff up!!! I am amiable and gentle with other dogs, kids, and cats. Foster mom describes me as "very low maintenance, low to medium energy". I try to live up to my "Good Dog" certification and not cause any trouble for Foster Mom...I just try to get along!! At 5 years young, I have passed the puppy and young dog stage of chewing stuff up or wanting to be the "Alpha" of ...anything!! My hairytage is a mix of the world's most popular dog, the Labrador Retriever, and another dog of renowned character, the Boxer. The Labrador Retriever is known for being friendly and outgoing companions who have more than enough affection to go around. The Boxer is renowned from olden times for his great love and faithfulness to his master and household. Harmless to his family, Boxers are bright, friendly, and brave. The resulting hybrid of these two well established breeds is...ME!! I am a gentleman and am very well mannered. I am crate trained, housebroken, and know people pleasin' behaviors like sit, down, and come when called. I walk well on and off my leash. I also LOVE car rides and snuggling!! Foster Mum says that I think that I am at lap dog at 54 pounds!! My theme song is "City of New Orleans", the rendition by my main man, Arlo Guthrie in 1991; I particularly relate to these lyrics; "Good morning America how are you? Don't you know me I'm your native son" With my down to earth personality, I am most definitely a "native son" of this fine land; I hope that I can be a fur kid of yours, as well

Hello, my name is Apollo, my birthday is 11/12/18, and I am a Scorpio….what is your sign?Oops, TMI, too soon?I was told to have a strong “PICK ME” line to introduce myself !!😊 According to my zodiac sign, I am energetic as well as expressive…..very true! Sensitive and intelligent; I have lots of learning to do and lots of time to do it!! My heritage is German Shepard and Black Mouth Curr hybrid...but, I don't run on petrol and electrical, I run on snuggle, hikes, and milk bones...yummmy!! At 10 months young, I weigh approximately 50 pounds, so will likely end up a bigger sized adult dog (just guessing, around 60 lbs.).I love food, so I need a family that is up for a daily hike or walk around the blocks. I am a fun loving dude who loves tug-o-war with my sibling foster pups, following foster mom around the yard and house, and snuggling with my foster family.I am an exceedingly sweet and loving pup. Foster mom says I play well with dogs of all sizes and do fine with cats (unless they take off running, and then I think that they want to play "tag"!!) If you are looking for a pup that is willing and eager to learn, likes long walks and adventurous hikes, I hope I had you at “hello”!!
