Story
Maisey Mae is a wonderful, crazy intelligent, quick learning, energetic pup. She loves to sit on your feet and on your lap. She minds well with commands and can learn incredibly quickly. Maisey is crate trained and does well having her space. Maisey came to the PNW via a rescue in Texas and has been with us for a couple of years. She loves to play and but does not recognize that smaller dogs may need a more gentle approach. Maisey would do well in a home where she is a single dog with a yard or with daily walks. She would love to sit on your couch and sit on your feet by the fire. Hikes are fun for her. We are reluctant to let her go but are finding that our small dog and chickens aren't big enough to play with lol.

Story
Lyli is a lovely lab mix who just loves her human companions. She was rescued from the streets of La Paz, pregnant and then had a litter of 5 puppies of which 3 have already been adopted. Lyli is a wonderful mother to her pups and currently lives with other dogs of all sizes but does need time to get to know new dogs that are introduced to her. Like many rescue dogs who have had to compete for food, shelter and safety, Lyli can be a bit apprehensive when strange dogs approach but this is a behavior that with time and trust in her human, will lessen. Due to an issue during sterilization, one of Lyli's kidneys had to be removed and because of this, is on specialized dog food. Will you be that person to give Lyli the safe and wonderful life she deserves? NOTE: In many cases, these dogs are located in La Paz, BCS, Mexico in foster homes. We transport them to their adopted homes via air transport with a volunteer.
