Eddie is a 6 year old fun loving dog who is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. Loves to cuddle and play fetch. In great health but does have seizures. Sometimes Eddie can go months without them, other times will have a couple in one month. He is not currently medicated for the seizures but the vets recommend that he starts.

He is 8 years old and a black lab/pit mix. He is neutered. He was born on a farm and lived there his whole life but my grandparents recently sold their farm due to old age. They did not have a plan for him so I took him in temporarily. I have tried the Humane Society and have been told they would put him to sleep because of his separation anxiety. He doesn't really like to be left alone in the house or enclosed alone, so he tends to make a mess i.e chewing. However, he does great with other dogs! He gets along well with my two year old sheperd mix(they wrestle a lot because my shepherd loves him). When they are home together, they usually do not get into a mess. If Chester is crated in his area, he will cry a bit but once my dog joins him he is all relaxed. I would LOVE for Chester to go to a home that already has a dog family, he will excel in this kind of environment. Please understand that it isn't his fault with the way he is or his behavior. Comments: Although Fender was hit by a car and is on restrictions he is your typical husky. He loves to play and rough house (as much as he is able) with his foster siblings. He is able to recognize signs and warnings that are given by other dogs when it gets to be too much. Fender can be shy, which makes sense, I would be too if I was hit by a car. Fender is crate trained although gets anxious if by himself, however this is getting better with some training. He knows some commands like sit and kennel. Fender will require a home with patience, and would do best with another dog, as he likes to be the follower.

He came to us from another rescue where he was reported to be great with dogs and at one point he even lived with a chihuahua. With us he has been great with dogs his size but he does play a bit rough at times so he would need a dog that would be more tolerant of that. He is a very strong, muscular boy with lots of prey drive and will need a strong handler with calm energy. He would do best with someone who can give him the structure, rules, and mental stimulation he needs. He loves his people and is a great snuggler. He is very respectful in the house and will wait for permission before getting onto furniture. He is great in a crate and is completely house trained. He is not good with cats and it is unknown how he would be with children but would likely be best with older kids due to his size/strength and his jumpiness when excited. Guppy will come with 3 follow up training sessions with our Healing Haven Outreach Team during his transition to a new home. Name: Lil Lady Breed: American Pitbull Terrier / Lab Mix Adoption Fee: $150 Date of Birth (estimated): 1/28/2018 Weight: 58 lbs Good with Dogs: yes Good with Cats: yes Good with Children: Older children or a kid free home House Trained: yes Crate Trained: yes - can be vocal on occasion Exercise Needs: high Lil Lady is a super playful young gal who loves life. She is incredibly sweet and is always in the mood to play. She is currently working on her manners, specifically jumping when she is excited. Potential adopters will need to continue to work on that but she is very treat and people motivated so she should do very well. Because of her high energy she would do best in a home with older children or an adult only home. She is a pretty high energy young gal and will need someone who can exercise her both physically and mentally. While with us she has been great with dogs of all sizes and she does a great job of matching play styles. She takes correction from other dogs very well and is respectful when they are asking her to stop. Lady prefers to meet new people a little slower but she typically loves them after she has checked them out and especially after they give her treats. She is not at all aggressive, she can just be nervous/fearful. She is potty and crate trained and is generally very quiet in the crate. Lady had an accident before coming to us that resulted in her eyelid never being able to close or blink. We opted to have corrective surgery in order to give her more comfort and use of her eyelid. Since the surgery she is now able to blink and only requires eye ointment every one in a while when it is especially dry. She does have some skin allergies and is taking a daily allergy pill. Lady will come with 3 free follow up training sessions with our Healing Haven Outreach Team during her transition to a new home.
