Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Ozark is doberman/shepherd mix.  When she came to Minnesota she was underweight, now she is up to 70 pounds.  She is still quite lean so could stand a couple more pounds.  Before coming to Minnesota she had a litter of puppies, but now has been spayed.   Don't know which breed it comes from but Ozark has a curly tail that is shifted to one side.  So she can look a bit lop sided.     Ozark is a playful sweet girl.  She requires slow introduction to new dogs but once the introductions are over she is game on.  Ozark plays in the yard with her foster brothers - the mastiff and boxer.  She is a talker, she will try to convince us to give her more treats or get the boys to play.  Ozark plays with her foster dad in backyard racing around.     She walks well on a leash and knows basic commands.     After a busy day outside she is content to lay on the floor and chew on a rope toy.  Ozark also likes to cuddle on the coach when we watch TV.   Ozark is kennel and house trained.  If a treat is placed in the back of the kennel she walks right in.  She prefers a plastic kennel rather than a wire one. She can get excited easily and would do best in a home with children over the age of 10. Story
I am in a unique position and looking to Dog-share, not do a full on adoption. I am recently divorced and share 50/50 custody of my 2 kids, that absolutely love our dog. In the weeks I have my kids, I need Fritzee to be with us. In the weeks I don't, I need the ability to work longer hours and travel for work and it has become logistically and financially difficult to manage having a pet. So I am looking for someone in a similar situation that really wants a dog but cannot handle the full time commitment. The kids come home Sunday evenings and leave the following Sunday so it would be an alternate week dog-sharing arrangement. Fritzee is 3.5 years old, a pure bred black Lab and weighs about 75 pounds. She is a super friendly dog, interacts well with other dogs and has totally ignored cats when exposed to them. She is calm once she gets over meeting someone new and rarely barks.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! My name is Tuukka. I am a year old 35lb terrier lab mix. I came to wags because my original owner since I was a young puppy could no longer care for me. Luckily for me, my human auntie fosters me!    I’m a very happy and friendly puppy. I love people and other dogs. I want to play all the time and have a lot of energy. I really like having another larger playful dog to spend my time with. I would love to have a high fenced in yard to play in. I live with other dogs and cats currently and do well. I really like kids but I get super excited that I don’t realize how big I am. I jump up on people to greet which my foster home is trying to teach me that’s not good manners. Since I’m still learning not to jump I should be in a home with older children. I enjoy playing with toys as well. I’m still young and very much a puppy at heart so I’ll need further obedience training in my new home. I do know sit! I’m working on kennel training and can go 3-4 hours at a time without accidents. I still need one potty break during the night but I’m super quick and I settle right down in my kennel again. I don’t bark or whine in my kennel either unless I have to go potty. Since I’m still working on kennel training I am not house broken. I’ll need a patient owner to help train my bladder.    If I sound like a good fit for you and your family please apply to adopt. We can meet and see if we are a good match! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Story
Hi, I'm Luke! Playing, running and snuggles are my main hobbies. I love to curl up after a long day of playing to get some extra love and snuggles in before going to bed. I know my size and I am very respectful to the fact that I am bigger boy. I have gotten to meet her a cat a few times, but she doesn't really want to see me and usually runs away. I never chase her or bother her much at all. I walk really nicely on a leash. I LOVE to go on walks and check out this great big wide world. I am still young so playing and running and taking long walks are a few of my favorite things to do! Treats are on top of this list as well. I am working hard on patience and I am learning that great things come to those who wait. I do really well sitting when asked to, even without a treat. I like my kennel when my people are away. I am such a good boy in my kennel.. no whining, crying, or any noise at all. I just like to use this time to sleep and refuel my energy for more playing and running! Are you looking for a handsome, loving, and playful guy to add to your family? If so, I am your guy!!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedure completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $450To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jonesy is a loving hound mix, born 1/21/16, and currently weighs about 60 pounds. His favorite thing is just hanging out with his people friends. He will love lounging on the couch next to you for as long as you want and then sleep next to you if allowed. He is also very comfortable sleeping in his kennel overnight and enjoys the security it offers when he’s left alone. He has been allowed to free roam while being left in the house for a couple of hours and has done well. In his free time, he does independent lounging and likes chewing his ring toy as well as a stuffed animal or a tennis ball. He and the house cat have established a cordial relationship. Jonesy goes outside on a long cable to do his “business” and play in the snow or tries to retrieve a ball. We have not gone on walks due to the fact that when Jonesy arrived, he was on a restricted physical activity schedule. He has had bilateral cranial cruciate ligament ruptures and a medial patella luxation - most likely due to a genetic abnormality where arthritis has set in. This leaves Jonesy to intermittently lift his back, right leg up and avoid putting a lot of weight on it when it’s bothering him. He does not let this slow him down. Surgery was considered but was determined to not be a helpful option at this point. Jonesy is currently on Novox (1/2 pill twice a day) and Glycoflex (a joint supplement) that will be a part of Jonesy’s daily needs. Jonesy is very timid when first meeting new people. Tall, male figures seem to make Jonesy nervous, but when allowing Jonesy some time for adjusting and getting familiar, he does well. It appears Jonesy chooses not to come when he’s called but he does a great job when he’s told to sit. Jonesy is very affectionate and has all kinds of love to share. He seems happiest just to be next to his favorite people friends. At bedtime, he typically sleeps with his people friends while sharing the bed with them or he may use a dog bed on the floor, or be in his kennel depending on the situation. His first choice will always be to be by your side. He makes a wonderful companion.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Are you looking for a loving, loyal walking and/or running buddy who is considered to have medium to low energy? If so consider adopting me! I am house trained, crate trained and I know many basic commands. I would prefer to be the only animal in the house at this time. I enjoy short or long walks, snuggling on the couch or hanging around the house with my humans. I would also suggest a family with no small kiddos, as Sienna isn’t quite sure of her size and tends to knock over the littles. She will cuddle up right next to, once she opens up she will be your best pal.
