Story
Mia is technically a senior dog, as she is just over 8 years old, but her energy & drive are not typical senior dog behaviors. She's 1/2 German Shepherd and 1/2 black lab. I have had her since she was 3 months old, but due to major events in my life over the past 3 years I am no longer the best owner for her (including a new job where I will start traveling for work extensively in April). She deserves better. She's wary of strangers, not a fan of small children that are unpredictable, has lived with cats (but is always wanting to chase them), and is not a fan of other dogs. She has gone to daycare/boarding her entire life and is fine there, but would rather just be off looking for and chasing squirrels and rabbits vs. playing with other dogs. She is also a bit of a resource guard with food/chews, but just with other dogs, never with me. She is extremely smart and has been through basic obedience training. She is also a good running partner.

Story
Bella is a playful, energetic, loving, obedient, people-loving, cuddle dog. We adopted her from Hennepin County Humane Society about 6 years ago when she was estimated to be about 1 1/2 years old and in good health. She was spayed and had at least one litter of puppies prior to this. Since then she has been a member of our family and the "nanna" dog to our daughter since the day she was born. Bella knows all basic dog commands and is obedient.. She is food-motivated, and will get overweight VERY quickly if overfed. She will occasionally chew out of anxiety if left alone, so we put her in the laundry room when away during the day. She runs about 30mph at max speed (not kidding). We are moving to Hawaii in July and Bella needs a home with someone who will really love her. Ideal to have a fenced yard since she does run away outside (always returns, she likes to chase squirrels). Dog park visits help get out her energy. I take her for 5-7 mile runs 3x/week when its above 40 outside.

Story
Coco is a bundle of joy that has a good bit of energy. She loves to play fetch and keep away but also really does love just spending time in a bed or on couch and having her tummy rubbed. Her arch nemesis would be anything that squeaks and she will look for a squeaker for days. She has a favorite squeaking ball that is also like her pacifier that she loves to carry around everywhere and play with. She loves paper towel tubes, and wants to please people very badly. She has mastered Sit for treats, and is learning how to properly stay on the floor (though with her small size there isnt much she can reach). She would do wonderfully for anyone that enjoys walks, running, or is just looking for motivation to get moving. Coco does not get along with other dogs or animals because of her history and is looking for her second chance in a loving home. She has been in foster care for over a year because of these facts plus her being a pit mix and being black. She just wants a home to give her a chance. She does need someone that is patient (willing to try at least a week with her) and understanding that she needs time to come out of her shell and adapt as much as they may to having a dog. Because of this history, Coco needs to be an ONLY PET. Coco would do well with middle to older children, as she does like to give hugs. She is very gentle and loving once she gets to know people, but can be shy at first. Again, she needs someone that will be patient and understanding that she will need time to adjust. she is UTD and ready for a home !Please call 952 855-6495 to meet coco.

Story
We adopted Zoey 4 years ago at 10 weeks old. She is very anxious around strangers and we are looking for someone who can work with her and help her be more comfortable around strangers. She gets along with our cat and 2 year old male dog. Zoey would do best in a home without babies/small children. She is a very loyal, snuggly and laid back dog with her owners.
