Story
Name: Fender Sex: Male Color: Black, White & Grey Eye Color: Bi-Eyed Birthday: Approximate Weight: 45lbs Good With Dogs: Yes Good With Cats: No Crate Trained: Yes Housebroken: Yes Energy Level: Medium Good With Kids: Yes Training: Basic commands. Comments: Although Fender was hit by a car and is on restrictions he is your typical husky. He loves to play and rough house (as much as he is able) with his foster siblings. He is able to recognize signs and warnings that are given by other dogs when it gets to be too much. Fender can be shy, which makes sense, I would be too if I was hit by a car. Fender is crate trained although gets anxious if by himself, however this is getting better with some training. He knows some commands like sit and kennel. Fender will require a home with patience, and would do best with another dog, as he likes to be the follower.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Mobile friendly link: https://tinyurl.com/adoptguppy Name: Guppy Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Adoption Fee: $150 Date of Birth (estimated): 1/23/2014 Weight: 60 lbs Good with Dogs: yes Good with Cats: no Good with Children: unknown but may be ok with older kids House Trained: yes Crate Trained: yes Exercise Needs: m oderate/high Other Needs: calm, confident handler Guppy is a super sweet guy with a lot of spunk. He came to us from another rescue where he was reported to be great with dogs and at one point he even lived with a chihuahua. With us he has been great with dogs his size but he does play a bit rough at times so he would need a dog that would be more tolerant of that. He is a very strong, muscular boy with lots of prey drive and will need a strong handler with calm energy. He would do best with someone who can give him the structure, rules, and mental stimulation he needs. He loves his people and is a great snuggler. He is very respectful in the house and will wait for permission before getting onto furniture. He is great in a crate and is completely house trained. He is not good with cats and it is unknown how he would be with children but would likely be best with older kids due to his size/strength and his jumpiness when excited. Guppy will come with 3 follow up training sessions with our Healing Haven Outreach Team during his transition to a new home. If you are interested in meeting or adopting this animal, please read the following before submitting an adoption application on our website - fureverhomerescue.com. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, 4Dx test (covers tick-borne diseases ( A naplasmosis , Lymes, E hrlichiosis) as well as heart worm)  & de-worming.  We ask that our dogs live indoors unless otherwise stated & agreed upon.   We ask that applicants live in Minnesota.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Name: Lil Lady Breed: American Pitbull Terrier / Lab Mix Adoption Fee: $150 Date of Birth (estimated): 1/28/2018 Weight: 58 lbs Good with Dogs:   yes Good with Cats: yes Good with Children: Older children or a kid free home House Trained: yes Crate Trained: yes - can be vocal on occasion Exercise Needs: high   Lil Lady is a super playful young gal who loves life. She is incredibly sweet and is always in the mood to play. She is currently working on her manners, specifically jumping when she is excited. Potential adopters will need to continue to work on that but she is very treat and people motivated so she should do very well. Because of her high energy she would do best in a home with older children or an adult only home.  She is a pretty high energy young gal and will need someone who can exercise her both physically and mentally. While with us she has been great with dogs of all sizes and she does a great job of matching play styles. She takes correction from other dogs very well and is respectful when they are asking her to stop. Lady prefers to meet new people a little slower but she typically loves them after she has checked them out and especially after they give her treats. She is not at all aggressive, she can just be nervous/fearful. She is potty and crate trained and is generally very quiet in the crate. Lady had an accident before coming to us that resulted in her eyelid never being able to close or blink. We opted to have corrective surgery in order to give her more comfort and use of her eyelid. Since the surgery she is now able to blink and only requires eye ointment every one in a while when it is especially dry. She does have some skin allergies and is taking a daily allergy pill. Lady will come with 3 free follow up training sessions with our Healing Haven Outreach Team during her transition to a new home.     If you are interested in meeting or adopting this animal, please read the following before submitting an adoption application on our website - fureverhomerescue.com. Story
Name: Mimi Sex: Female Color: White Eye Color: Brown Birthday: 05/22/2018 Approximate Weight: 44 lbs Good With Dogs: Yes, but can be dominant. She would be fine as an only dog or a male that doesn't mind letting her wear the pants. She has shown some resource guarding with toys with her four legged foster brother so they are kept up. Mimi plays well with other dogs when toys and treats aren't around. Continued training is a must for Miss Mimi! Good With Cats: No, Mimi cannot live in a home with cats. Crate Trained: She does well in a crate if other dogs are nearby or she has music/tv. She needs a wire crate so she can see around her. Housebroken: Yes Energy Level: High Good With Kids: Great! Training: Mimi is potty trained and is very comfortable in her crate. Mimi would excel at obedience school, as she is very smart and is ready to learn, especially if there is food involved. She is also great walking on leash. She does not pull much - for a husky. And she takes direction well on leash. Mimi is great when it comes to being brushed too! Comments: Howdy! My name is Mimi. I am still recovering from surgery after a car accident, but I starting to look for my own forever family. I am learning how to play nicely with my foster siblings. I was alpha at my previous home, but they made a selfless decision to surrender me to rescue when they realized they could not provide the medical aftercare and financial needs I had. I am so smart, but stubborn, so it took a bit of time and some understanding to learn how to work as a team. I have always been snuggly with my humans. I love to lay near them, give kisses and get pets. I also love toys and carry my favorites around the house. I have been known to eat things I shouldn't, my list of offenses include socks, gloves, and hand towels. So I hope to find a family who will make sure things are kept out of my reach to keep me safe. I had to have surgery last year to remove that darn hand towel from my intestines and I'm really hoping to have noooo more surgeries any time soon! I have a lot of energy and I would love to have a family as an only pup - so I can get all the attention and snuggles, or as an addition to an alpha dog or human that can help lead me and teach me. Taking me to a training class is a must to help me bond with you and learn the rules. I really would love to spend all day with you, or another friend to keep ourselves busy playing together. If you are interested in a snuggle-buddy and an exercise buddy, then please apply to adopt me! Adoption Fee: $350 All our fosters are: Spayed or neutered before adoption. Evaluated for temperament and trainability. Up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella, Heart-worm tested and on preventative year round. Microchipped. *Professional photos courtesy of 27 Wolf Photography*

Story
Sex: Male Color: Black and White Eye Color: Brown eyes Birthday: 11/1/2019 (estimated) Approximate Weight: 32 lbs Good With Dogs: Yes Good With Cats: Yes Crate Trained: working on it Housebroken: Working on it- I'm a puppy! Energy Level: medium -high Good With Kids: Has not been exposed to children within the foster home, however is very gentle. Training: Working on the puppy basics. Comments: Hi my name is Sterling and I am looking for love this Valentine's day. I am a little shy at first but once I love you I am the most loyal boy you will ever meet. I am originally from Oklahoma which makes me a southern boy but I already love Minnesota and the snow. I am the runt of my litter and love to give tiny puppy kisses and follow you wherever you roam. My mom was a German Shepherd and my dad was part husky and I got all their best genes which makes me a super mutt. I am very smart and already potty trained on a schedule. I have mastered "sit" and "kennel up". I am very food motivated and love learning new tricks. I am very gentle and will be good with any age of two-legged or four-legged family members. I have been cat tested and did bark at them a little but lost interest quickly, I would easily adjust to having a kitty friend. My ears haven't decide if they are going to stand up or not yet but I am a very good listener either way. Since we don't know what exactly I am it just means I am full of surprises. I am a little noisy in my crate until I settle down but pretty quiet the rest of the time. I like walks and sniffing around the yard or going for a run. When I'm inside I love to chew on bones or curl up on the couch and watch TV. My life motto is: Leave no treat behind! I hope we can meet up soon to see if we are a match so you can be mine and I can be yours fur-ever! Love and puppy breath kisses, Sterling xoxo Adoption Fee: $400 All our fosters are: Spayed or neutered before adoption. Evaluated for temperament and trainability. Up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella, Heart-worm tested and on preventative year round. Microchipped.

He is the world's best snuggler & loves to spend his days romping around in the backyard - where he can keep himself preoccupied for hours with a ball or even a stick :) He is great on a leash and seriously acts like he's your service dog in public. Zeus is a bigger guy and can be mouthy at time so we would recommend children who are older. He is house trained & is crate trained, although he is only crated bc his foster home has multiple dogs - otherwise he is fine being loose. Zeus LOVES training - he excels when he knows what is expected of him and he aims to please. He listens to commands very well and is all around a very special dog. He makes his foster family laugh every day with his goofy antics, playful attitude & his sometimes uncoordinated play skills.  Zeus will need to have a bit of a slower transition to his forever family to ensure he transitions well. Zeus will also come with 3 free follow up training sessions with our Healing Haven Outreach Team during his transition to a new home.  You can follow me on facebook / Instagram by searching @giraffedogzeus If you are interested in meeting or adopting this animal, please read the following before submitting an adoption application on our website - fureverhomerescue.com.
