She's never met a toy didn't like and she lives each day to the fullest, knowing that she's in Rescue now, safe and sound. She's a bit of a freeze baby, having lost most of her hair and unable to grow back a thicker coat but lucky for her, she looks great in clothes. Sadie is a 60 pound Pittie mix. She's house trained and kennel trained, looking for a family that can bring her into their home and hearts. She has a dog friend now but really just yearns to have a person all to herself.

He's been in Rescue for quite awhile and has things just the way he likes them. He lives playing with other dogs and he likes having his food served to him. He does not like to be touched but will tolerate it if he must. He has a nice personality but he thinks humans are here to serve him and are living treat dispensers. Having said that, he will approach and touch you to say hello from time to time. Rocky requires a fenced in yard and another dog. He is kennel trained and believes this is his castle. That's probably because I came to Animal Ark all the way from the country of Oman. It's true! I'm a medium size, male Saluki mix who is 1 year old. I'm looking for all the comforts a new home can provide, along with the patience to train me to be a great companion. That means I will need help with house training and discipline and overall good manners. The payoff will be a loving and loyal canine who will bring you all the joy you can handle!

I have many different personality traits, as vast as a mountain range! I am Rocket, a 7 year old, male Terrier mix. I'm the perfect size at 42 lbs, but I take up more bed space than you might think! Even so, I like my own bed, which I tuck myself into at night. My perfect human is someone who is very patient and can create a toolbox of solutions to help me with my challenges. I am slow to trust, but have learned that people are fun to be around. I don't consider myself a lap dog, but I do enjoy petting and grooming. I also like to give kisses!My foster parents said I'm the best road trip dog around. Whether in my kennel or roaming in the car, I am quiet as a mouse and in seventh heaven. Aside from car rides, I love to play. My favorite toys are the squeaky kind. I am a sweet dog looking for a "furever" home. I'm one smart cookie and know lots of commands! I like going on walks and I do well on leash. I'm a happy go lucky guy who is filled with so much love to give. I LOVE to chill with older kids on the couch or out in the backyard. In all honesty, I love people and attention. I would do best in a house with no cats or small dogs, since I get along with dogs more my size best.

Usually a Mother's work is never done. Not the case with dogs, though! I'm Orion, a sweet Terrier mix who is 2 years old. I came to Animal Ark from a reservation in North Dakota, along with my 3 pups...Blu, Azure and Cobalt. Being here and getting help raising my kids was a huge improvement over where I came from. Thank goodness for folks who look out for canines like me. My kids are on their own now, so my Mom duties are taken care of. I'm a friendly, happy gal who is just the right size for a medium dog, about 36 pounds. I'm looking forward to finding my loving home.where I can settle down forever!

**I'm currently residing in a foster home, and can be met with an approved adoption application.**Bow Wow! I'm Bowser, and I'm a big (97 pounds!), handsome Mastiff/Golden mix. I've grown up with a family and a labrador retriever, but have become nervous around the toddler and other unknown dogs. Based on how I react to strange dogs, I really should not go to a home with cats or other small animals. It would probably be best if I were in a calmer home that can help me continue on the path to being a good canine citizen. I pick up on commands very fast and am definitely food-motivated. I've even gone through three different levels of obedience classes. I love being outside, and thought winter was extra fun this year! I'm truly a big sweetheart, and have pounds of love to give! Could you be my furever?
